Early years had Jonathan Silfverberg convinced that he was to become an economist one day. After pursuing an education in the natural sciences, he soon realized that his passion for the creative arts was too strong to be ignored. He then picked up the camera and decided to look through the lenses with a new perspective.
In the years 2008-2009, Jonathan Silfverberg studied photography at Östra Grevie Folkhögskola under the supervision of Günther Raud. It was with Mr. Raud’s guidance that he finally found the right path which he has pursued since.
Aside from pursuing photography, Jonathan Silfverberg is also a part-owner of the Silfverberg, Silfverberg & Silverberg Gallery where he contributes to Swedish photography’s establishment in Malmö. Amongst the exhibits he has hosted are the works of photographers Frank & Annika Aschberg and Martin Bogren.
